Research: Background in neurosciences and clinical psychiatric research. Chief Investigator with Professor A McFarlane, A/Professor Michael Sawyer and A/Professor Peter Baghurst (University of Adelaide, A/Professor Malcolm Sim (Monash University) on NHMRC funded study - Childhood cognitive antecedents of adult psychopathology: follow up of the Port Pirie lead cohort into adulthood. Completed a Phd on Working Memory Dysfunction in Schizophrenia and PTSD in 2002. Research interests include cognitive dysfunction in psychiatric illness, first episode psychosis, schizophrenia, PTSD and medical eduction. Current PhD students Lara Clifford, Farah Sobhan, Muhsin Ahmad Zahari.
